It has been a very busy weekend, but today is Chances 1 week ampuversary. Day six was our biggest set-back so far, Chance seemed to have no energy all day. I could barely get him to go potty. But, Day seven has dawned and Chance seems to be his old self again. He is taking regular hops, and is having regular bowel movements and urinations. He chewed up the straps on his new RuffWear harness. Meaning, he is definitely closer to his old self than before. Thankfully, my good friends wife is an excellent seamstress and can fix it. All in all, a decent couple of days.

Yay Chance! Hoppy Ampuversary! Boy, you are back to normal, aren’t you!
But chewing the straps? Come on, they’re not THAT tasty! After your seamstress friends fix it, do post some pics, as this tends to happen sometime and we’d love to show pawrents how the straps can be mended.
Have a great week!
Today is my dogs one week “Ampuversary” too. She’s still tired and while she is okay walking prefers to sleep. She goes back to the vets today for another evaluation – we’ll see if he recommends changing her pain meds in any way.
Woo! Regular bowel movements! Congratulations Chance! I just had my first bowel movement today on Day 5, so it sounds like you’re doing well there!
My pawrents got me a ruffwear harness, but they’re not sure if I’m ready to start wearing it yet or when I can start wearing it. Is it comfortable for you? How’s your incision and bruising looking?
