Today was a much better day. Aside from Chance popping a stitch and bleeding a little, everything was very positive. He had two BMs and he peed once. We went for five walks today, the longest being about 6 blocks. He took his pills alot better after I coated them with peanut butter. I think he is starting to get wise to that though. Here is a question I have for any one who reads this, my friend has Parkinsons and he has a balance dog to help him walk. He wears a vest with a short leash that attaches above his shoulders. Anyone know where to get something like that? I think that might help out a lot.

Go to Petco, you can get a short leash and harness there. Katie has a harness as she pulls so much on her leash she gags all the time. Measure him before you buy one.
Get Pill Pockets at Petco for his meds. They come in different sizes so get him the large ones. I use these for Katie and Lori use’s these too. No problems with pills anymore.

Hmmm, not sure about the harness you’re describing but we do love the Webmaster which has a D-ring loop at the shoulders where a leash can be attached.
